DIAMOND RING — In case you were wondering where the name “diamond ring effect” came from, here’s an eclipse:
USC — The Jeweled Shillelagh is the trophy awarded to the winner of the annual USC–Notre Dame football game. In 2010, for the first time in nearly a decade, the Fighting Irish beat the Trojans on the field. The Irish lead the series, 43-33-5.
That doesn’t exactly look like any shillelagh I’ve seen before. In fact…oh, never mind.

EFREM — Efrem Zimbalist Jr. is the voice of Batman’s butler and confidante Alfred Pennyworth in several animated films.
NORAH — Norah is one of three O’Donnells on the air at NBC News. The other two are Kelly and Lawrence. They are not related.
